Launching Our Blog:“Behind the Counter”
Similar to other professions, the world of retail pharmacy has changed in dramatic ways.
Lawrence Drug has been open for 30 years and during that time we have seen extreme changes to insurance protocol, the releasing of thousands of new drugs, and varying regulations which have all changed how we operate our local family-owned pharmacy.
Those are just a few examples, but most recently we have been faced with the challenge of operating under a pandemic! We never thought that would be on the list of challenges, to be quite honest, but even during this time our values still remain and some have become more defined.
Patient-focused care has and always will be at the forefront of who we are.
Part of our responsibility as your pharmacy is to provide you with information that follows our mission: "Leading patients to better health". To further accomplish that mission, we set out on the adventure of starting this blog!
Our intent with this blog is to provide knowledge related to health and pharmacy that we think would benefit our patients, and also our patients’ friends, relatives, local community, and the world!
We are excited to share topics and communicate better from "Behind The Counter" with you, and we sincerely hope this is another way we can build our relationships with you and our pharmacy family!
